Komang Putri Pratiwi, warmly known as Utie, is Bali’s first certified colour analyst—a quiet observer of how hues can gently guide us back to ourselves. Drawn to the emotional and cultural language of colour, she pursued internationally certified courses in South Korea and Japan, where she studied the art of personal colour analysis with depth and nuance.

She later founded Colour by Utie, a consultancy rooted in the belief that colour can be both mirror and compass. What began as intimate, one-on-one sessions gradually revealed a deeper longing: to create garments that carry the same care, clarity, and intention. Thus, By Utie was born—a natural extension of her journey. Guided by nature’s wisdom and the quiet power of colour, Utie creates clothing that is not just worn, but deeply felt. Through her work, she hopes to nurture a more intuitive way of dressing—where beauty is grounded, and identity is honored.

Raised in Jakarta yet deeply connected to her Balinese roots, Putri found herself drawn to the quiet language of colour—its emotional depth and cultural resonance. Her travels to South Korea and Japan led her to the practice of personal colour analysis, where she saw firsthand how something as subtle as tone could transform not just appearance, but presence.

Captivated by its ability to reveal confidence and clarity, she pursued formal training and later founded Colour by Utie—a consultancy grounded in the belief that colour can serve as both mirror and guide.

From Bali to the World

Through her personal colour analysis practice, Utie has been invited to speak and consult at various events across Bali—from wellness gatherings to creative industry showcases. Her work has also taken her abroad, attending key colour and design events in South Korea, and most recently, representing her expertise at the World Expo 2025 in Japan. These experiences continue to shape her vision: that colour is not just visual—but deeply human, universal, and transformative.
